Starting this week (June 7th) 18U Summer Rec ball comes to SW Park. Teams will play every Thursday night - games will start at 7:00pm and 8:30pm.
So come out and take in some night games at SW Park.
Encourage your child to take an after school nap or rest prior to training. Offer healthy meals at the same time every day, keeping in mind that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.
Encourage athletes to tell coaches, parents or another adult about any pain, injury or illness they may have during or after any practices or games.
It takes some education to help athletes find the sweet spot. Hyponatremia and heat stroke are two of the most important conditions to be concerned about during sport, and hydration plays a role in both.
